Cuedora Refund Policy

Refund Policy

If Cuedora is not right for you, we would rather send the money back than keep an unhappy customer. Here is how that works, in plain terms.

Effective date: August 19, 2026

Try it first

Cuedora includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card. The trial starts when you first successfully capture with voice or a screenshot, not when you install. That window is there so you can find out whether the app fits your Mac and your habits before you pay $14.99.

If the trial has not convinced you, you do not need a refund — you simply do not buy.

14 days after you pay

If you did buy, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Email [email protected] from the address you used at checkout. Include:

You do not need to justify a refund inside that window. “It wasn’t for me” is enough.

Lemon Squeezy processes the payment

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. They took the payment, so they issue the refund. We will ask them to do that. Timing on the statement depends on them and on your bank or card network, not on Cuedora holding the funds.

Taxes collected at checkout are refunded according to Lemon Squeezy’s handling of that sale.

What a refund does — and does not do

A refund deactivates the license. Cuedora on that key will no longer treat this Mac (or your other activations) as paid. If a trial was already used on a Mac, you return to whatever trial state that Mac already had — you do not get a fresh 14 days as a way to stack trial plus paid time.

A refund never deletes local data. Your Inbox, attachments, Screenshot Shelf, and diagnostics stay on the Mac until you delete them. You can still export or delete from Settings → Privacy & Data after the license is gone.

If you want the license seat freed without a refund — for example because you sold a Mac — deactivate from Settings → License instead. That is not a refund; it just moves the seat. Details are on the Support page.

After 14 days

We do not promise a refund once the 14-day purchase window has closed. If something is genuinely broken, or a charge looks wrong, still write to [email protected]. We read every request. Chargebacks are a last resort; they cost everyone time, and we would rather fix the sale directly.

Nothing here limits a right a consumer-protection law in your country already gives you. If such a law says you may return software in a longer window, that law wins.

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. You must be 18 to buy a license.
